Pathway Family,
What a month it has been!
For 28 days, hundreds of you prayed by name for the people in your life who don’t yet know Jesus. I want you to know those prayers matter. Scripture reminds us that “the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective” (James 5:16). So don’t stop now. Keep praying, keep watching, and be ready for the open doors God is going to give you.
And then came Harvest Party. What a weekend! Our campuses were full of families, and many of them were guests who came because someone at Pathway invited them. That matters. At Pathway, we believe Everyone Walks with Someone, and for so many people, the journey toward Jesus begins with a simple invitation from someone who cares about them. Every invitation, every volunteer shift, and every warm welcome showed our community what the love of Jesus looks like.
This Saturday, join us at Westlink for our 5 PM service, then stay for a first look at the new season of The Chosen at 6:30 PM. We’ll have popcorn and snacks, so bring a friend and make a night of it!
Next weekend, October 24/25, is a big one. We’ll celebrate baptisms and launch our new series, All Things Becoming New. If you’ve put your trust in Christ and haven’t been baptized yet, this is your weekend. This series marks the culmination of our two-year All Things New journey, but not the end of the vision. We’ll celebrate all God has done so far toward the 10-year vision He has placed on our hearts, and we’ll look ahead with expectation to all that’s still to come, because the God who makes all things new isn’t finished yet (Revelation 21:5). During the series, we’ll also welcome a special guest, Becky Stanley from our Global Partner, India Gospel League. Make plans to be here and bring someone with you. Maybe even one of the people you’ve been praying for these last 28 days.
I’m so grateful to be your pastor.
See you this weekend,
Pastor Todd Carter
