464 Weekends and Counting

In the fall of 2017, a group of people pulled up to Valley Center Middle School with a trailer full of equipment and a lot of faith. They set up a church, tore it down, and came back to do it again the next week. October 2026 marked 464 weekends of that same rhythm: the same hallways, the same early mornings, a nursery in a borrowed classroom, and middle schoolers meeting in a hallway with one table who keep showing up anyway. And through it all, God has been faithful. The last three years have been the most fruitful in Valley Center’s history, with record decisions for Jesus, record baptisms, and more people in groups than ever before. That impact has reached beyond the school, too, through a school support drive in August, presents under trees in December, and families in crisis served through CarePortal.

A couple of weeks ago, close to 200 people from across Pathway’s campuses and MicroCampuses gathered in an open field, on the land where Valley Center’s permanent home will be built. They worshiped under an open sky, thanked God for His provision, and prayed for the families who will walk through those doors someday. It was a celebration of what God has done, and one the whole Pathway family gets to share, because every gift and every prayer through All Things New helped lead to that field. Pathway hopes to break ground early next year as God opens doors, while staying prayerful about following His vision and His timing. The invitation now is simple: pray for the lives this campus will impact, for the Valley Center family who faithfully serve each week, and for the people God is already preparing.
