Perfect Love
OPENING PRAYER:
Jesus, thank You for Your perfect love that never fails, never disappoints, and never runs out. Help me to receive it fully today. Amen.
"We love because he first loved us." - 1 John 4:19
REFLECT:
Pastor Todd concluded this week's message by pointing us to Jesus as "the true bridegroom—the only love that doesn't collapse under the weight of all of our expectations." Every human relationship, no matter how good, has limits. But God's love is perfect and complete.
Jesus meets us in our weakness, our disappointment, and in the places where our idols have failed us. He doesn't wait for us to get it all together. He simply says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
As you close this devotional week, remember that the good news of Jesus is for people who finally admit they don't have it together—people who realize they need a Savior. That's all of us.
I WILL STATEMENT:
I will identify one thing I've been asking to give me life, and I will surrender it to God in prayer.
CLOSING PRAYER:
Lord Jesus, I surrender everything to You today. Thank You that Your love is perfect and that in You, I am fully loved, fully seen, and fully accepted. Use my life for Your glory and Your mission. I love You, Lord. In Jesus' name, Amen.
